Its design makes it stores solar energy during the day and a pumped water storage system to generate power at night. 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Swiss studio RAFAA flexed quite a bit and propose the competition entry “Solar City Tower make Rio’s Olympic Games the first ever zero-carbon games. This renewable energy generating tower located on the coast of Rio is one of the first buildings designed for the 2016 Rio Olympics.
